The STEFTI Junior and Senior High School students, as well as elementary graders, marched out from their classrooms to join the launching of Science and Math month with the theme, “Unleashing the Power of Science and Math: Explore, Invent, and Transform” on September 12, 2023 at the campus grounds.
The parade showcased different banners of the high school students that incorporated the Sci-Math Month theme. The graders, however, put on show the posters and banners they’ve made. Each poster and banner consisted of art pieces and fun facts. While some students marched down the road showcasing their posters and banners, others waved streamers in the air.
The opening program at the PRA Auditorium started with the main attraction of high school students dolled up as famous scientists and mathematicians parading down the runway for the Scientist and Mathematician Look-Alike Contest. The participants introduced themselves as the character they represented and shared their contributions and inventions to the modern world.
What a great start of the new school year!
