Four STEFTI Senior Girl Scouts were awarded the Chief Girl Scout Medal Scheme (CGMS) certificates by the Council of Directors of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines – Leyte Council in a formal ceremony last March 25, 2022. Ciana Maraya, Francesca Gemma Maraya, Pia Declarador and Gracie Lora are now part of the exclusive and prestigious roll of CGMS Awardees all over the country. These girls applied for this honor during the School Year 2019-2020 and have been awarded through a face-to-face ceremony only this year. Despite the pandemic, our CGMS awardees were able to carry out their projects, engaging in community and nation-building activities which defined their leadership skills, perseverance and their sense of responsibility toward themselves and their community. An official virtual national awarding ceremony was conducted prior to this GSP Leyte Council activity.
Joining the girls in the ceremony were Mrs. Clemenne Enna C. Naputo and Ms. Charity A. Daguil, STEFTI Girl Scout Troop Leaders.
