The STEFTI administration declared a health break which started last January 14-18 due to the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in the city. In a statement issued by the administration through its Facebook page Emerge STEFTI, the surge in COVID cases has affected many STEFTI families and households and in order to help the faculty, staff, students and their families focus on their health and well-being, this three-day suspension of classes was declared.
Consequently, schedules of exams and related classroom activities have also been adjusted as follows:
Review/Discussion: Jan. 19-21
Summative Exams: Jan. 24-28
Quarterly Exams: Jan. 31- Feb. 4
Staff Midyear Evaluation/Midyear Break for students: Feb. 7-11
Resumption of Classes/Start of 2nd Semester: February 14
“Our Health Break should be a time to rest, recharge, and recover. During this period, there will be no in-person transactions in school, no synchronous classes, and no submission of requirements. Adjustments in the deadlines shall be posted in the students’ courses”
