“Every occupied seat told a story of commitment.”

The message was clear. STEFTI parents showed up. The PRA Auditorium welcomed an exceptional number of parents and guardians during the Parents’ Orientation for School Year 2026–2027, today, July 11, transforming the venue into a testament of the parents’ unwavering support for the education of their children. Their enthusiastic participation underscored a simple but powerful truth: student’s success is built on a strong partnership between home and school.

The orientation commenced with the presentation of the faculty and staff for the new school year. Then followed a comprehensive presentation by the School Director, Miss Mary Bernadette Palami, who discussed the school’s academic guidelines, assessment and grading system, in line with DepEd-mandated academic policies. Parents were oriented on the academic standards, classroom expectations, and school regulations that guide student learning and behavior, emphasizing the shared responsibility of both home and school in helping students grow into responsible, disciplined, and high-achieving individuals.

Mr. Erickson M. Nosenas presented the Student Conduct and Discipline Overview during the Parents’ Orientation.
Mr. Kristian Neil Alicando, Administrative Officer, presented the School Campus Safety and Security Guidelines

The Open Forum, moderated by Mr. Joseph N. Chuca, Basic Education Specialist, provided parents with the opportunity to raise questions and share insights. Ms. Mary Bernadette C. Palami and Mr. Kristian Neil Alicando addressed inquiries and clarified important school policies, fostering open communication and a stronger partnership between the school and families.
The discussion then shifted to campus safety and security. The Administrative Officer, Mr. Kristian Neil Alicando, presented the School Campus Safety and Security Guidelines, outlining procedures designed to ensure the protection and well-being of all students, personnel, and visitors inside the campus.
To reinforce these guidelines, parents viewed a Video Presentation on Security Protocols and Walkthrough Guidelines, which demonstrated the proper entry and exit procedures, visitor management system, emergency protocols, and other security measures currently implemented by the school.
Adding further value to the orientation, representatives from the Philippine National Police, PCPL Kathrina Lapesura and PSSG Aubrey Cadiz, delivered a short but meaningful talk on “Understanding and Preventing Bullying.” The officers discussed the different forms of bullying, the importance of early intervention, and the vital role that parents and schools play in promoting a culture of respect, kindness, and safety among learners.
The Parents’ Orientation concluded at past 12 noon, marking a successful and informative gathering. Through the strong participation of parents and the collaborative efforts of school administrators, staff, and partner agencies, STEFTI once again demonstrated its commitment to providing a secure, disciplined, and nurturing environment where heart, mind, and character grow best.
A glimpse into the meaningful moments of our Parents’ Orientation—from registration and the welcome presentation to engaging discussions and the active participation of our parents. Together, we continue to strengthen the partnership between home and school in providing every STEFTI learner with a safe, nurturing, and excellent learning environment.
